MEng in Civil Engineering (University of Granada-UGR, 2012) and an MSc in Environmental Hydraulic with specializations in Integral Management of Ports and Coastal Zones (UGR, 2013) and Integral Management of River Basins (UCO, 2014). He obtained his PhD (International Doctorate and Cum Laude) from the UGR in 2017. He is an expert in Hydraulic, Maritime and Coastal Engineering
interests are the study of the dynamics of coastal areas and the marine renewable energies, covering theoretical fundamentals, analysis of experimental observations, numerical modelling applications and proposals of management recommendations.
HONORS AND AWARDS
Modesto Vigueras’ award for the best work in Spain in the field of port and coastal engineering (May 2018). Later, he received the award for the best scientific paper of the School of Engineering of the University of Seville (February 2019). Finally, he received the ‘Enrique Fuentes Quintana’ award for the best Doctoral Thesis in Spain in the fields of engineering, mathematics, architecture and physics (June 2019).
